MAINIT, Surigao del Norte, Nov. 14 (PNA) In an effort to have more recognition and more development programs in the fourth largest lake in the Philippines, officials of the Lake Mainit Development Alliance (LMDA) push for the association's representation in the House of Representatives.
In an interview Sunday, new LMDA chair and governor of Surigao del Norte Sol F. Matugas said the association needed more recognition for further development in the area.
The move was realized during its meeting at the Agusan del Norte Provincial Training Center, Capitol Site, this regions capital city, he said.
