Abstract
Moving automatic block system is an advanced system for railway traffic control, which is based on modern communication technology. It can not only ensure traffic safety, but also greatly improve traffic efficiency. It can reduce the headway to minimum by applying AI techniques to railway traffic control. However, as to the practical application of moving automatic block system, lacking of public acknowledgement is still a great concern, therefore, computer simulation is quite necessary to illustrate the characteristics of moving automatic block system. This paper is an analysis of moving automatic block system by computer simulation based on a powerful simulation platform— MATRIXx® 6.0. Based on the models we have implemented, further study on various optimal algorit
