In this thesis, a simple but unique approach to modeling binary events occurring in contiguous regions of space is presented. In particular, it looks at the models of the form [special characters omitted] in which the ith binary observation at location Si has a probability of success p which depends on a function of location si. During the research, universal kriging is combined with logistic regression applying to binary data.
