DONCASTER, with debts of pounds 1.4 million, have been placed in the hands of an administrator and given three months to sort out their financial affairs.
The chairman John Desmond, owed pounds 800,000, is believed to be interested in mounting a rescue package. A "clash of personality" with Desmond was cited as the reason for the recent sacking of the coach Tony Fisher, who claims the club still owes him money.
