A CROWD of 6,239 at the International Stadium last night illustrated once more this town's appetite for rugby league. But these enthusiastic fans are still waiting to see a truly competitive match. They deserve one.
Many of the contests staged here have been too one-sided for the sport's good, not least the 86 6 thrashing that Australia gave South Africa in the World Cup last October.
