NEW YORK Star criminal defense attorney Mel Sachs, who represented the likes of Mike Tyson, Lil' Kim and former New York Yankees pitcher David Wells in cases accusing his clients of crimes ranging from perjury to assault and worse, has died.
Mr. Sachs died Wednesday, said Robin Aronson, who works at his office. She did not give his age or details on the cause of death.
Mr. Sachs, who was born in 1946, had two children and was married to Grace Sachs.
