HE HAS travelled the globe chasing his motorsport dream and now Scott Pye says he will carry his home state on his quest for a V8 Supercars crown.
Pye, 23, was yesterday confirmed as the freshest face on the 2013 V8 Supercars grid after joining Holden's Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport for the coming season.
He joins veteran Russell Ingall and rising star Tim Slade as the SA contingent in Australia's top motorsport category.
The 2010 British Formula Ford champion - who finished runner-up in his maiden season in the Dunlop development series last year - said making his debut at his home Clipsal 500 event in just 27 days was a dream come true.
