- A First Nations group mixes it up in Ottawa. "A tribe called red" is next, on "The National."
It's a genre of music affectionately referred to as electric powwow, a dynamic mix of electronic and aboriginal musical styles. Earlier this year, we brought you the story of "A Tribe Called Red," a trio of musicians at the style's leading edge. This week. the short list for the Polaris music prize was announced and their album is in the running. Here again is Eli Glasner with their story.

They start lining up as soon as the doors open. The crowd, like the music, is a mix.
