This 25-year-old hip-hop artist from Finglas is turning the music industry on its head. She's been a one-woman whirlwind of poetry and opinion since childhood. "When I was a young child, my mother used to take me to union and feminist meetings," MissElayneous, aka Elayne Harrington, explains. "My father is a musician, too, so I used to see him performing. He didn't teach me everything I know, but he did teach me how to teach myself."

She's no shrinking violet. MissElayneous means business. "I'd like to see the complete abolition of misogyny and the downfall of the decadent patriarchal system," she says. "I'd like to see the decline...
