Judith is already a mother of four, at the tender age of 22 years. As she sits by the verandah of her hut in Loro sub-county in Gulu, she is winnowing a tray of millet, in preparation for a meal for her family. Judith dropped out of school in P4 after she became pregnant.
"It was the only way to go. I was miserable at home, miserable at school and I thought marriage would be easier; instead it is even harder," she says, in a rough mix of English and Acholi.
