WOW air, Iceland's only low cost airline, has today announced a new service from the UK to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania beginning in June 2017, with fares from just Pounds 119.99 one way[sup 1].

Flights will depart from London Gatwick and Edinburgh to Pittsburgh via Reykjavik, giving travellers on a budget the chance to experience the diverse city, acclaimed for its authentic cultural offerings. The inaugural service to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) will depart on 16 June 2017, with the service operating four times per week, year round.
