So-called Islamic State (IS) has released a video flaunting its alleged weapon-making and development capabilities, showing and testing a range weapons in the battle for Mosul.
Each weapon was introduced by a foreign fighter who delivered the message that despite being under intense military pressure, IS continued to innovate.
The video also delivered a strong call for lone actor attacks in the West, with emphasis on the use of trucks as a weapon. (See our report: monitoring.bbc.co.uk/#/product/c1dhj3v1)
An "American" IS militant in the video warned that IS had "other types [of weapons] that [it would] leave to the enemies of Allah to discover for themselves".
The video, titled "We will surely guide them to our ways", was released on 17 May via IS channels on the messaging app Telegram. It was attributed to IS' so-called Nineveh Province.

The 44:40-minute film featured a variety of IS-made or adapted weapons.
