O'REGAN: For many of us, checking our e-mail in the morning before heading off to work is just second nature. I'd check it in my shower if I could. Spending more time online is not a fad, obviously. It's a way of life. People are doing everything, from buying clothes and watching movies to managing their investment portfolios online.
And joining us this morning to talk about some of the latest trends in digital culture, we've got our expert, Max Valiquette, to talk to us about this.
I'm sure that 90 percent of the people who are watching right now have had some experience with online. But where are things going? Where are you seeing trends?
VALIQUETTE: Well, actually, we just did a new survey with Rogers that uncovered how rich everyone's lives online are continuing to be. It's not just about checking e-mail anymore for people. It's sending photos, uploading photos, --
O'REGAN: Photos are big.
VALIQUETTE: Photos are huge. Half of our survey respondents expect to watching TV on the Internet within the next little while. About 50 percent. So, another 50 percent...
