Archbishop Tutu Bids Farewell to Emory
In JBHE's latest survey of the percentages of black faculty at the nation's highest-ranked universities, Emory University in Atlanta ranked second behind Columbia University in New York City. There are 146 blacks teaching at Emory making up 7.1 percent of the total faculty.
But now Emory is losing one of its most illustrious black faculty members.
