Six outstanding women will be awarded underwater scholarships by the Women Diver» Hall of Fame' (WDHOF) at the 28th annual Beneath the Sea Dive & Travel Expo 2004 to be held at the Meadowlands Convention Center in secaucus, New Jersey on March 26-28, 2004.
WDHOF is a unique honor society that is dedicated to the women who shape the world of diving. The Women Divers Hall of Fame' is a (501)(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1999 by Beneath the Sea Expo, Women Underwater E-Zine, Womens Scuba Association, The Underwater Society of America, Hillary Viders, Ph.D. and Capt. Kathy Weydig. One of the primary goals of this international organization is to use the Women Divers Hall of Fame platform to promote careers and opportunities in the marine sciences and diving-related industries through its scholarships and mentorship support. WDHOF will be awarding these scholarships in 2004.
