It's a Monday night. You have four days until Shabbos. You're a student, or you just started a new job, and you recently moved to Boston.
You don't want to spend Friday night alone, so you start surfing the Internet and log on to www.SeeYouOnShabbos.com. You click "find a host" and enter "Boston."
You don't drive on Shabbos, so you check a box mat notes you'll need lodging for the night. You're not yet married and wouldn't mind meeting someone, so you look for a host listed as particularly interested in matchmaking.
Once you've found a suitable host, click "Host Me!" If you're approved, you're good to go.
See You on Shabbos (slogan: "Helping People Find their Challah") launched seven weeks ago; already 2,242 people from at least 16 countries have signed up to be either guests or hosts. By Wednesday morning of this week, 59 requests had been made for this coming Shabbos.
