Abstract
The historic Proctor's Theatre in Schenectady NY was chosen as the venue for Mariah Carey's NBC concert, scheduled to air in Nov 1993. The concert's set, which production designer Cabot McMullen based on the set for the 1958 Broadway production of "The Firstborn," is discussed.
