Abstract
The Walt Disney Corp plans to spend $30 million to transform New York City's dilapidated New Amsterdam Theatre into a showplace for live performance in what is hoped will be the first step in restoring the 42nd St and Times Square area. Plans for the New Amsterdam's design are discussed.
