A partnership between Tishman Speyer and TMW Real Estate is quietly shopping the 1.5 million-square-foot building at 666 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.
The partnership has tapped Lazard Freres to selectively market the property, which could command bids as high as $900 million, or $600/sf. The Tishman team stands to make a hefty profit - it bought the building in 2000 from Sumitomo Realty for $518 million, or $345/sf.
