Introduction: Concussion has been reported as the third most common match injury in rugby union. However, few studies have set out to investigate the understanding and experiences of concussion across the sport. The purpose of this study is to systematically review the literature to assess the experiences, knowledge and attitudes of concussion in the stakeholders of rugby union.
