Summary of Book
Imagine waking up to find that your skin was covered in colorful stripes! That's what happens to Camilla Cream in this clever tale about a girl who comes down with a strange ailment that causes her skin to change colors and patterns several times a day. Many doctors, specialists, and other experts try to help her, but nothing seems to work until a wise old woman stops by and suggests that Camilla eat lima beans, something that she secretly loves. At first, Camilla refuses because she thinks everyone will laugh at her for loving lima beans. But then she decides to try them because everyone makes fun of her anyway. To her amazement, the lima beans do the trick and she immediately transforms to her original self! The moral of the story is to eat the good foods you enjoy, regardless of whether your friends will think you are weird!
