Competitors air reports on Univision's win in news ratings race
The May ratings are in and the results for channel 34 are astronomical," a newscaster announces in his most astonished voice. "KMEX is first in news in key demographic categories at 6, at 6:30 and at 11!" Sounds like shameless self-promotion for fast-rising Univision Spanish-language station KMEX in Los Angeles. Except that this news report was broadcast recently by KTLA Morning News, the daily breakfast show on the Fox Broadcasting station in L.A.
