A FILM FESTIVAL Slated for next month in midtown, featuring Eli Wallach's classic movies The Misfits, Baby Doll and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, promises a special treat for attendees: The 91-year-old Manhattan resident will be on hand to discuss his impressive acting career.
But money can't buy a ticket to this event. The festival is exclusive to condo owners at 325 Fifth Ave., a new luxury high-rise, and will take place in the on-site screening room.
Accentuate the positives
AS LUXURY CONDOMINIUMS sprout like weeds around town, developers are going all out to attract buyers. Along with private gardens, pools and fitness centers, elaborate screening rooms are finding their way into more and more building plans. At least a dozen residential condos, some now under construction, boast such facilities, which can cost as much as $300,000. For developers, it's a small price to pay in order to gain a competitive edge.
