The No. 1 genre show among key demographic groups (including men and women ages 18 to 54), Farscape was already reaching 52% of American households when ADV snapped it up for distribution on video. The international smash hit, which also generated millions of dollars in revenue from the sale of licensed products, became similarly successful for ADV, with VHS and DVD collections of the first-season episodes remaining on industry sales charts for months.
