An ordinance of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament. Concerning the growth and spreading of errors, heresies, and blasphemies. Setting a part a day of publike humiliation, to seeke Gods assistance for the suppressing and preventing the same. Die Jovis 4. Febr. 1646. Ordered by the Lords assembled in Parliament, that this ordinance shall be printed and published; and that the sheriffs, or their under sheriffs, shall take care to carry downe the said ordinances; and that they be delivered unto the severall ministers of every parish church and chappell within the counties of the kingdome of England and dominion of Wales; who are to take notice of the said ordinance accordingly.
