Veteran broadcaster Ric Gorman rode the elevators in a uptown Charlotte building for so long, he suspects people thought something strange was up.
It was just part of the research that led to his decision to become president of media startup The Elevator Channel.
Chief Executive Rudy Alexander says he needed Gorman's 25 years of experience to help execute the business plan.
"Ric brings a wealth of knowledge in the media and advertising fields that we did not have," Alexander says.
