Part Two of "The M.I.S. Extraordinary Woman" series will be held "Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9-11 a.m., at The East Cleveland Public Library, 14101 Euclid Ave. Admission is free.
"This program promises to be an exciting one," said Phyllis Mosley, co-founder of Minority Interests Strategists Ltd. "Each one of our honorees has dedicated a great portion of their life to service to the community."
In this session M.I.S. will honor Janie Carter, Warrensville Heights Mayor Marcia L. Fudge, Cynthia Marizette, Justice Maureen O'Connor and Sister Juanita Shealey. Each of the women will share their keys to success during the program.
"We invite young people to come out," said Toni Goodman, M.I.S. co-founder. "One of our goals is to pass along a guideline for success to our young people."
"With each session, we create a booklet with the biographies and keys to success for each honoree. We would like to develop a set of booklets with extraordinary people, little known and well-known, from our own community that young people can relate to and learn from."
