A reproductive endocrinologist, a veterinarian and a biochemist, all with backgrounds in academic research, have been named finalists for the position of vice chancellor for research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
They are: Brooks Keel, professor of obstetrics and gynecology and associate dean for research at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita; Prem Paul, associate vice provost for research at Iowa State University in Ames; and Sheldon Schuster, director of the biotechnology program at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Keel is scheduled for an on-campus visit Feb. 11-13, Paul on Feb. 6-8 and Schuster on Feb. 14-16.
