How do Twin Cities school administrators view drug testing? Here are their views:
Bloomington High School: Principal Barry Reilly said he is not a supporter of drug testing and would rather see money spent on preventative measures. However if random testing were administered discreetly and with sensitivity to children's feelings, he might support it for students in extra-curricular activities.
"If we would come up with something to help them make better choices, we wouldn't need drug testing. We're always ready to step up with a fix rather than attacking the problem."
Central Catholic High School: This fall the Peoria Diocese will institute mandatory drug testing for students in it's high schools, including Central Catholic in Bloomington. Principal Joy Allen supports the program,...
