BLOOMINGTON - Fund-raising efforts to support a new Central Catholic High School have brought the capital campaign more than halfway toward its goal.
The campaign aims to raise about $10 million; more than $5 million already has been pledged.
"We're very optimistic and pleased with the results we've had so far," said Mike Hundman, who leads the campaign.
The project, including construction, site improvement and athletic facilities, is expected to cost about $12 million.
The remaining $2 million may be raised by future campaigns or financing, Hundman said.
