BLOOMINGTON -- It was, after all, the first day of school.
But the opening day buzz was supplanted as Central Catholic High School's 300-plus students found added excitement Monday within their new home at 1201 Airport Road.
What they found was an improved comfort level in their newly air- conditioned environs.
"The school is pretty cool and the air conditioning is real nice," said Scott Komar, a 14-year-old freshman. "It's still school, though. The seniors took us through (Sunday) and showed us where everything was."
