The state's second public television channel - which focuses on helping children learn to read and adults get high school diplomas - would be shut down if Republicans in Congress succeed in cutting funds to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the executive director for the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority said Wednesday.
"It would have a catastrophic effect," Robert Allen said.
