Family Broadcasting Group has reached an agreement to buy the Oklahoma City-based KSBI Television Network from Locke Supply and expand its largely family-oriented programming.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition gives Family Broadcasting Group access to an audience of more than 900,000 households in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Stillwater, Ponca City, Ardmore, and Enid, as well as in Wichita and Wichita Falls, Texas, according to information from the company's Web site.
Until the deal closes and the Federal Communications Commission finalizes the deal, FBG will assume control of the network's operations on Monday through a lease management agreement with Locke.
