Kim Possible does the impossible and travels into the past and then into the future to save the world in a new full-length animated TV movie.

The extended episode, "A Stitch in Time," shows why the series "Kim Possible" has done well in the ratings. "Kim Possible," a cartoon about an intelligent teenager who's a secret agent when she isn't a cheerleader, combines drama with humor at a fast, fun pace. Adults and youths alike will appreciate the sci-fi elements in the new episode.

"A Stitch in Time" premieres at 8 p.m. Friday on the Disney Channel.

For those not familiar with the series, the movie goes into some of Kim's origins as a secret agent who gets help from her bumbling sidekick Ron Stoppable (Will Friedle of "Boy Meets World").
