Colorado turned in a perfect end to its dream season with a 1-0 victory over Tampa Bay to capture the championship of the American Professional Soccer League on Saturday.
"They've just battled all year and did it again," Foxes coach Dave Dir said. "This is probably the ugliest game we've played, but that doesn't matter."
The Foxes (12-5) accomplished their goal of winning the APSL's triple crown - finishing first during the regular season, winning the Professional Cup tournament and taking the league championship.
