FOUR Dublin commercial property units developed by MEP and former property developer Mick Wallace were sold at auction yesterday for €900,000 - €150,000 over the €750,00 guide price.
The four are part of Quartiere Bloom, also known as the Italian Quarter on Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, and they surround a wall decorated with a painting showing Dublin's Last Supper, a modern Irish version of Leonardo da Vinci's famous The Last Supper painting.
According to publicart.ie, the mural was the work of artist John Byrne responding to Mr Wallace's "persona and his passion for politics, philosophy, Italy, wine and football"....
