If attitude adjustment is the first step toward turning around Fitchburg State's football fortunes, then the Falcons have found their man in newly named head coach Mike Woessner.
The 33-year-old Woessner, an Athol native and 1970s Red Raider standout, received the word Wednesday: After a two-year stint as FSC's defensive coordinator, he's the one who'll replace departed coach Vin Keough, who recently stepped down after three years in charge of the struggling program.
