After a hiatus of 63 years, regularly scheduled ferry service between Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan will be off and sailing Monday. The city announced yesterday that a company called Direct Line has signed up to rent space at Pier 11 on South Street, one block south of Wall Street, and will be operating a 50-passenger boat to and from the Fulton Ferry Landing in Brooklyn during both the morning and evening rush periods.
