Transit Authority investigators yesterday zeroed in on the narrowspace between a blue plywood construction hut and the edge of thePacific Street subway platform in an attempt to figure out how a wheelchair-bound amputee was dragged to his death Tuesday as he tried to get off the train.
An advocate who has been lobbying to increase wheelchair accessibility to the subway system said he, too, plans to investigate whether the system's inaccessibility played a part in the death of the man, whose body remained unidentified in a Brooklyn morgue yesterday.
