CORRECTION: New York Newsday yesterday incorrectly identified the individual pictured with Percy Sutton at an Apollo Theatre news conference as Basil Paterson. Actually, it was state senator David Paterson. (4/13/91 2 C)
June 1 is the witching hour for Harlem's legendary Apollo Theater. Percy Sutton, general manager of the Apollo, yesterday issued his most public threat to his lenders so far, in a news conference broadcast live on radio from the theater. He said he will close the Apollo on June 1 unless there is a "satisfactory readjustment" of his loan terms that will "stop the bleeding."
