Track rehabilitation and tunnel repair on the 63rd Street segment of the B and Q subway lines will add about 30 minutes to the ride between Manhattan and Roosevelt Island, Queens and Brooklyn, TA officials said yesterday.
The 15-month, $43.6-million project, to begin Sunday, will mainly affect riders using Long Island City's 21st Street / Queensbridge station, the Roosevelt Island station and Manhattan's Lexington Avenue / 63rd Street station, Transportation Authority spokesman Termaine Garden said.
