Ignoring the children's Calvin Klein jeans and mini Tommy Hilfiger jackets, 4-year-old James Fileccia found the magic of Bloomingdale's in the store's new elevator, which he operated with a joyful push of its shiny new buttons.
For his mother, Lynn Fileccia of Melville, shopping the new "Bloomie's" at the Walt Whitman Mall proved just as much fun as her son's elevator game.
"It's a very pretty store," said Fileccia, 38, as she browsed the children's section, with its plush Teletubbies and designer clothes. "They have really nice stuff. It's a fun place to shop."
