The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday opened a new office in New York, more than a month after its old home was destroyed in the Sept. 11 attacks.
"We are pleased to announce that our office in New York City officially reopened today in a new location in the heart of the city's financial district," the SEC said in a statement.
