The city's next high-profile disaster drill will simulate a subway incident in lower Manhattan, sources said Friday.

The mock mishap is planned in and around the Bowling Green station for early on May 16, a Sunday, when mass transit use is relatively sparse.

The drill will demand responses from the Fire and Police departments, as well as the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and other agencies, officials said.
