New Yorkers aren't easily impressed, which may explain why ridership on the month-old AirTrain shuttle to Kennedy Airport is short of estimates. Or perhaps it's because this is a slow travel period. Or maybe word is still filtering out to potential users. We'll check off all of the above, believing that the service will catch on soon enough. It's too convenient an alternative not to succeed.
