In observance of Black History Month, Brentwood United Methodist Church, 309 Franklin Road, will present two programs on the subject, ``Beyond Black and White: Race Relations from a Christian Perspective'' at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19 and Feb. 26.
The Rev. Hilly Gene Hicks, noted TV and film actor who now serves as pastor of Pickett-Rucker United Methodist Church in Lebanon, will discuss on Feb. 19 the subject with the Rev. Douglas N. Norfleet, senior associate pastor at Brentwood.
M. Garlinda Burton, author and editor of Interpreter national magazine of the United Methodist Church, will continue the dialogue with Norfleet on Feb. 26.
