SELECTED STUDIES OF CHARMONIUM DECAY

We present two analyses involving decays of the charmonium states, Psi(3095) and Psi-prime(3684). We have measured the ratio of branching ratios of six strong decays of the Psi and Psi-prime and compared them with the theoretical prediction of perturbative quantum chromodynamics. In four cases there is good agreement and in two cases experiment and theory differ by more than an order of magnitude. We also present an observation of the Theta(1640) in the radiative decay of the Psi to a gamma, K-plus and K-minus and a measurement of the radiative decay of the Psi to the f-prime(1516) and a gamma. Branching ratios for these processes are quoted.
