For years, writer/director Tim Clue used the money he made performing in stand-up clubs across the Midwest to pay for his more serious life in the theater.
But he never thought about writing a flat-out comedy until last fall, when Jeff Solberg, founder of the Naperville-based Shadowfax Theater, asked if Clue knew of a good comedy Solberg could produce.
"I set about reading all the comedies that I loved and all the ones I wanted to do were being done by everyone in Chicago," Clue sighs. "So I decided to take a deep breath and write my own."
