The Kate Kennedy Club, whose members dress up as women for the annual procession, will no longer be endorsed by St Andrews
The principal of Scotland's oldest university has withdrawn support for a historic men-only club, weeks after she was denied membership of the world's most famous golf club.
Louise Richardson, principal of St Andrews University, announced in an email to students yesterday that she would no longer endorse the controversial Kate Kennedy Club.
