WHEN cinema goers flock to see the new Hollywood blockbuster Phantom of the Opera this weekend they'll be bowled over by the singing of movie star Minnie Driver.
Yet unbeknown to them, the voice behind the famous face is in fact that of Solihull music teacher Margaret Preece, who has been plucked from relative obscurity to star in one of the biggest movies of the year.
Margaret, of Dickens Heath, has done all of the singing for Miss Driver's role of Carlotta. The Hollywood A-lister doesn't utter a single note for the film but instead mouths to Margaret's singing.
